Hello,

My name is Andrea. I am the owner/operator of The Rooted Archer. My love of nature started as a child and is strongly received by my maternal side, especially my late grandmother, Wilma. My love of flora and fauna continued to grow after high school when I took a position at a local plant nursery. Over the next 17 years, I did everything from plant maintenance, assisting garden center customers with landscape design, trouble shooting plant concerns, to eventually ordering, procuring plant material and assisting with landscape projects.

After starting my family (married with 2 sons) I decided to pursue a nursing career and still work 1 day/week in the operating room! While I love my OR team, I continue to root in to my passion. With an eye for design and an unwaivering determination (thanks again, Grandma), The Rooted Archer was created. Collaborating with contractors and industry professionals, I strive to ensure all of our clients achieve their desired results.

When I’m not digging in the dirt or with my family, I’m might be running, hiking, swimming, practicing yoga or creating new ideas for projects. :)
